Executive Director – Operations

This unique role provides the opportunity to directly contribute to a public sector and police that act with integrity for all Victorians. The IBAC Operations Division works to prevent and expose corruption through highly committed teams undertaking investigations, digital forensics and collections and surveillance activities.
Reporting into the CEO, the Executive Director provides strategic and operational leadership to a large group of 110 specialist staff leading investigations into corrupt conduct and police misconduct, having accountability for the responsible and considered exercise of legislated powers. It also involves being an active contributor to the senior executive team bringing a whole of organisation perspective.
The role requires personal attributes of collaboration, agility, resilience, and values driven leadership. Building and maintaining effective and senior relationships with government, stakeholders and industry are also a key aspect to the position.
