Anti-corruption message across 20 languages

IBAC has developed a series of information sheets to assist the Victorian public to understand what corruption is and where to report it.

IBAC has developed a series of information sheets to assist the Victorian public to understand what corruption is and where to report it. Recognising that Victoria is Australia’s most culturally diverse state, this information has been translated into 20 key community languages.

“One of the best ways to reduce the risk of corruption is through community education,” said IBAC Chief Executive Officer, Alistair Maclean.

“The Victorian public has a right to expect that the people working for the public sector perform their duties with integrity – that is, fairly and honestly. It is therefore important for members of the Victorian community to understand what corruption is, and know where they can report it.”

“Victoria is enriched by people from all over the world. By providing information in key community languages, IBAC is helping to ensure that that all community groups have access, information and guidance when it comes to recognising and preventing corruption.”

The translated information sheets provide information about IBAC, how to make a complaint and about protected disclosures.
