Regional forum: Corruption risks in local councils

IBAC’s Operation Sandon investigated allegations of corrupt conduct involving councillors and property developers in the City of Casey, and exposed corruption vulnerabilities in Victoria’s planning decision-making processes. As a result, IBAC made 34 wide-reaching recommendations to promote integrity.
