You have the right to not remain silent

You have the right to not remain silent

All Victorians deserve to be treated fairly by police, no matter where you live or what your circumstances are.

You can report anything police do to deny your rights to us, the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC).

IBAC is not part of Victoria Police. We are Victoria's independent body responsible for preventing and exposing police misconduct. All information IBAC receives from the public helps us do our job effectively.

IBAC's campaign, You have the right to not remain silent, empowers Victorians to speak out against police misconduct to ensure all police are held accountable.

Find out more  about reporting police misconduct to IBAC.
