In June 2015, IBAC finalised an investigation into allegations of serious corruption in the former Department of Transport and Public Transport Victoria (PTV).
Nine people and one company have been charged with a range of fraud-related offences.

To address issues identified in Operation Fitzroy, IBAC recommended PTV implement a program of procurement reforms and cultural change.

IBAC has published these reports in the interests of informing the community about the actions PTV has advised they are taking. By sharing the lessons learned from this investigation, we also aim to assist the public sector improve systems and practices to prevent corruption.
